Executive Secretary
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Gil graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1956 and soon after received a BSc from New York University. His MA in Art was awarded by the City College of New York, Brooklyn College.
Before coming on Aliyah in 1968 he taught fine arts and photography in NY and lectured in adult education programs. He established a graphic design and marketing communications firm in Israel from which he retire several years ago. He has been the art critic for the Jerusalem Post since 1973 and has also contributed to the International Herald Tribune. In addition to the Post he has written a number of books and catalogs and currently is Israel’s contributing editor for World Sculpture News and Asian Art Review, both published in Hong Kong.
