The Cameri Theatre's (www.cameri.co.il) award-winning production of Hamlet was performed in the International "Shakespeare in Washington" festival March 6-11, 2007 at the Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.  Performed in Hebrew with simultaneous "translation" into the original English, the play has received enthusiastic response from critics and audiences alike throughout the world.

The Cameri production has represented Israel at the International Shakespeare Festival in Gdansk Poland (2005) and at the International Shakespeare Festival in Bucharest, Romania (2006) and has won five awards at Israel's 2006 Theater Prize Awards, including Best Play, Best Direct and Best Actor.
