THE JERUSALEM MUSICAL TRIO

Winner of the UNESCO Prize “For Interactive Dialog Between the Different Cultures Through Music”, The Jerusalem Musical Trio, presents a new view of Jewish folklore by blending traditional klezmer music with elements of classical, jazz and Middle Eastern ethnic music, to create a bright and individual style.

Liana Kreimer, is a multi-talented performer having studied acting, dance and voice from a young age. Singing has provided her the means of communicating with the rest of the world in artistic styles such as Jazz, Blues, Folk, and more.
Liana is delighted to be featured as the vocalist in some of the most well known Jewish folklore songs as well sharing some extraordinary traditional Jewish music with the rest of the world.

PERSONAL LANDSCAPES

An exhibiton of works by 15 Israeli artists showing their personal assessment of the geographical, political, and social landscapes of Israel in traditional, photographic, conceptual and video media. Currently showing at the Katzen Performing Arts Center, American University, Washington, DC, the exhibit will move to the Arthur Ross Gallery, University of Pennsylvania, PA, September to November. Personal Landscapes was curated by the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art.

REAL TIME

FIA will be supporting a travelling art exhibit of Israel’s finest contemporary art assembled and curated by the Israel Museum, Jerusalem to show in cities across the United States as an outreach to grassroots America. The exhibit will be placed in museums for a period of 2-3 months before moving to the next location. A gala event involving local dignitaries will kick off the travelling exhibit. This will be followed by widespread group tours and extensive outreach to make sure the collection is widely viewed and understood  by people of all ages and backgrounds.
