Blue and White honors Israel’s 60th anniversary by exposing the public to several pre-packaged
exhibitions. These exhibitions can be mixed and matched according to the venue and tailor made for the size and availability of a gallery, museum or college campus. Among the possibilities provided
in the Blue and White the package are Works in Blue and White, First Portraits, photographic works by young Israeli photographers, Artists – Messengers of Peace; Vision Action, Design; Naftali Solomon – Poetic Landscapes.
According to Doron Polak, curator and director of the event, currently slated for the Mizel Museum in Denver, Colorado are three shows in the Blue and White possibilities that include: Avraham Hai:
Photographs of Artists and graphic portraits of poets and authors by Zvi Lachman. A special xhibition of creative pieces devoted to Shesh-Besh (backgammon) will be installed at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. in late 2008 or early 2009.
